Children’s Books On Abuse
It is a very sad fact that untold numbers of children suffer abuse from their parents and guardians every day. These children are often terrified by their abusers and are told that no one will believe them if they complain and live in fear. A relatively new approach to helping children speak up about abuse is to publich children’s books on the subject. This lets the child know that the abuse is in no way their fault and that they are not the only ones who suffer from abuse.
